to be sure, that Pig-Latin (and I'm being generous) evolved in the texting world. Some lazy (and I'm being generous) people decided it might be okay to bring it into other forms of communication. It's caught on and consequently, a legion of not-so-bright (and I'm being generous) proponents can't see anything wrong with it. Personally, if I get an email with a "2" or "ru", etc. in it, I reply with "WTF, over". That's usually responded to with a email written in English!
